Presume they sleep all through the day with them being nocturnal?

Have looked at cages etc. online but not sure how the actual Chinchillas cost themselves as haven't been to a pet shop yet

always nice to have 2 but they are ok in ones. Degu however are better paired.
yes they sleep all day and are active at night. They look so cute asleep!!

They are around £80 but vary on colour

Personally try a rescue centre as they usually have hundreds and nicer to rehome one in my opinion.

With regard to cage i built one on top of another to make a big tall one

any animals you dont have?

them sleeping through the day wouldn't bother me as I am at work in the day

Does it make a difference whether you get male or female or do they both have similar temperments? Obviously if I get 2 they will be of the same sex so no little ones appear

i dont have a monkey

i think they are best paired male and female but you can get them done. if you get them from a sanctuary place they usually have them paired already and have had one or the other done. either that or same sex familys are ok e.g mother and daughter
