I dont understand...
Its older, done more miles from when you bought it.... so why not less than you paid ?
How much did you pay? Did you really pay over what he was asking?

to be fair this post doesnt make any sense
Its reserve is 3.5k on ebay adam offers 3.2k but you wont sell it for less than the 4.5k you paid for it? So what if it sold for 3.5k on ebay or did you pay 3.5k for it?
You have two cars and only want one for uni, then you are selling all 3 cars for possibly a civic type r even though you want something cheap to run that doesnt need to be quick. Now suddenly you are putting the engine in a westfield, wow that practical.
Sorry but a good liar need a good memory!

who said the reserve was 3.5k? the reserve has always been 4.5k. it doesnt matter a toss how many cars i have. the westfield is for sprints and hillclimbs as is the ax. now that im changing wat i do for a living i need to go back to college. im selling the corsa and my 106 rallye to get something semi quick and comfortable. do i need to explain my life story to u lot? there is nothing wrong with this car i love it to pieces but the college im goin to isnt far away so there would be no point in using it plus im gettin moaned at for using up driveway space!

3.2k is better than nothing.... its only an offer.
Did you buy it with the plate on? Is that why it was £500 more?

Just break it for spares dude, I'd do the same! I know for a fact what the engine would go for (very easily!) along with te transmission. Bang a normal XE in the car and sell that and you have way more than 4.5k
Stops annoying peasents trying to take the piss with insulting offers.
Good luck with whatever you do!

I'd be really insulted with your offer! You know what the car is, and what its worth. The way your holding the poor lad to ransom is like hes got to sell the car today or he will die! lol
Put the engine in Mortorsport News, it will fly out. My mates dad sold one at a much lower spec and I was amazed what it sold for within a day! Remember these engines are used in a lot of competitions so there is a very high demand for them!
When I heard this car was for sale again I was tempted to get 4k out for it and expected to make a decent drink on it. You should easy get 4.5k as a complete car. Even more in bits.

Why
Lets get one thing straight, when buying something you always low ball the seller. Its in your best interests to do so is it not? Then if you need to go higher you can. Doesn't work the other way around though, put in an offer for the asking price & then try to knock them down.
I've bought 2 of my cars by doing this & got a bargin both times. Sometimes you drop on with a bargin
Way I see it is the worst they can say is no

holding the poor lad to ransom
Its an offer..... an offer i didnt get a response for at first so i asked again.
I know what the car is worth, and what i'd pay for it. I dont need the car, but if he was selling at the right price i'd be interested.
Slippting the car would be a shame..... but i'd be interested in a few bits
What is your lowest lowest price Chris? U2U me if you want. How much would you take for the engine/trans (complete with TB's and ECU etc) if stripped?
