No, you dont get it.
He wanted to come back to liverpool, we wanted him back. We offered 12mil (4mil more than we sold him for) and you offered 16mil. He still wanted to come to us. Real wanted to sell for any price as it was still profit and had just bought 2 new strikers. If owen had held out Real would of been forced to accept our offer over yours, but he bottled it as wanted to play before the world cup.
Now he has fucked himself as we dont want him back, and has to carry on playing at a shite club.

From what I remember Rafa didn't want him and left him waiting in a hotel for hours before meeting him. Liverpool only made the offer to keep the fans of their back

he did want him, both Rick Parry, Rafa and Owen have come out witht he same story, the one I mentioned above. Owen made it clear where he wanted to go on numerous occasions, then ended up at Newcastle and you guys thought he actually wanted to be there

because we dont want someone who firstly ran down his contract so he could leave for a reduced fee, and then bottled his chance to return to go to Newcastle. And Owen is no better than our strikers, he may score when he plays but gets injured that often that he may aswell just play a whole season and not score too often.
