WTF Matt the reason the trade centers collapsed the way they did is because the extreme temperature of the fire burning from the kerosene fuel melted the integral iron girders that surround the central column. it is the basis on how the building is constructed, with leaf like construction floors moving outwards. it was just a case of gravity and momentum to do the rest
