CTR's are overrated IMO, id have an ITR though
exact same engine, B18c. Just comes down to if you prefer the look of the Hatch or Coupe!
i wasnt talking about the engine
you said its over rated (I persume you are talking about the EK9 Type R as thats what we were on about) and would rather have the ITR. How else is it over rated if not down to the engine / performance?
that vaux girl thingy said she wanted a ctr, it was her i was replying to....I.E get alot of people saying hwo great the CTR yet i dont think they are, wasnt talking about the engine, the car as a whole....looks etc too. why does my opinion get questioned...??

wasnt questioning your opinion. Just as I mentioned the EK VTi, and then Vauxs mentioned the Type R I perfumed she meant the EK9. So when you mentioned that its over rated and would rather have the ITR I was wondering what you were basing that on as is practically the same car.
Now I know you mean the EP Type R I totally agree!!

Ep is a fuckin awesome car and prob best for its money, proven by many a motoring columnist that its a far better car than most in its class.

Going on the people i know, several rave on about how fantastic the CTR is, how great and fast etc, yet to be fair from what iv seen on them theyre not, i knwo the couple that ran up the strip yesterday got quite poor times in comparison so similar engined corsas etc....i knwo it was down to driver ability yesterday alot with the track conditions but still.....
Also CTR's are too common, every man and his dog have one, dont see as many ITR's about...

I couldn't do with having to climb in and out of them all the time. Plus they are noisey has hell on the motorway. nICE CAR THOUGH JUST NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE!
Didn't think they were that noisy on the mway, even with the roof off.
One i have been in was well noisy, to the point where you have to shout to each other, theres fuck all to them so nothing to stop the noise of the engine from entering the car.

I don't like the ep's that much, the ek9 type r's are a 1.6 with some of the itr's 1.8 parts (cams mainly I think) running same power if not slightly more
