I have got a poor mans works --- pretty much the same power, half the cost, none of the guarentee.
Dont worry about people calling it gay-- you know how good it is to drive and the positive reaction you get from people.
You gotta love that charger whine in this weather

Looks quite nice always seen them cars as worht buying if you dont want to loose too much money over time.
For 20-22K new i'd rather get an old air cooled Porsche 911...
Dont think the running costs would be the same

mine cost 16K to buy the car and get it to works power----- did get a big discount on car through a friend of mine at bmw

J-Me they are all 1.6's Have thought about tuning it but don't want any warrenty issues so shall probably leave it as it is, then again I say that everytime I buy a new car and it never happens..

Are you on mini 2 forums nik? There meets are awesome-- you meet up somewhere in the country-- get given a route map with pace notes and rag it from point to point in convoy.
None of this standing around in the cold looking in each others car boots. They have some good track days, driving holidays as well.

Yes, cracking little cars but should have been called a BMW One series and sold in RWD form only as is not actually a Mini, just a sceptical and exploitative marketing excercise on the part of a greedy manufacturer.
