Its a good car for the money but not what I personally would go for. Wheels let it down though as it looks like a base model with those alloys on. New wheels will make a big difference

On the plus side though Brad - nice Clio mate

Mate of mine has a black 1.4 16v and it's an amzingly capable and comfortable little car.

good choice mate, i was thinking of one of these, took the 182 cup out for a spin, HANDLE IS SUPERB. i knoe what u mean by it will be faster than corsa, by putting the power to the road better.

i would say get the grey alloys.

If Brads old Corsa is slower than his Clio then how is an Astra GTE that weighs more than a Corsa going to be quicker?

corsa & astra weights are VERY similar
A corsa GSi weighs more IIRC...

I know a GTE 16v weighs 1032kgs in standard form

And brads corsa would most likely weigh more than that if you think about it... kit, cage, 17's etc...

15.2 qtr mile in my GTE with LOTS of 1st gear wheelspin
Im sure my old one would of done a 15.0 or less if I had some practice...

Looks nice, Change the wheels though, as said makes it look like a lower model than it is.

I know its a new car and everything but i just keep getting urges to go take it out! Shame that you have to let it get quite warm before it performs best, may have to head up and down the A1 here at uni then
