well it too ka while to get it to line up spot on, but we go there with the aid of some washers and stuff, we removed the spring release thing. then mounted the studs for the bonnet pins to the slam panel, and went from there, we removed the head lights and drew round the area that needed drilling. but we drilled a hole that was to small then filed the hole to the exact shape we needed..... (notice i say we, when i mean he!) if i go to this guilford meet i can tell you and show you.....

when you say washers, or you talikng about spacing it on the hinges ??

and did you riving the pin backing plate to the bonnet

i do indeed mean washers in the hinges, had to put 2-3mm washers in the drivers side to stop the bonnet catching the wing on the corner. no i didnt rivit it, i think it may crack the bonnet (may not but i didnt want to risk it) so i screwed thru it, ill get piccies for you tomorrow and put them up in this thread, hard to explain.....

I can vouch that the steering wheel looks much better in the flesh, the bonnet pins took a while, but look ace and his other little present should make the interior look a little better.

3cm, i borrowed it from great dunmow, so id watch out.....

with the floor all painted satin black i think itll look swish, may paint it tomorrow afternoon
