because Utd fans have been doing it for years when Liverpool werent in the Champs league or were knocked out before them.

like to see all scottish teams do well as it improves our co-effiecent etc and end up getting more euro places and no qualifying etc..

I dont see how it is any difference though, why would you be happy for them going though but not winning?! You'll be celebrating them losing at some point.
It would be even better if they were beated by a lower division team, but with all the stick we have had over the years from Utd fans Im going to give it abck every opportunity I get!
