@ Dave, just what I was thinking.
Their league must be shit if the defenders feel they have to kick the good players off the park. We dont get too much in our league though we do see a bit of kicking but I have never noticed the players with coloured boots being 'targeted'

all my predators have lasted like 3-4 seasons... but i;ve had to replace them as all of them have split on th toe.... its a common problem but they do last!!!!

Ive heard it is just a Northern thing, not targeting people for coloured boots but more so just kicking the crap out of anyone really. Unless you are at a really good standard up here you will see knee high tackles, tackles from behind and nasty professional fowls/ I dont think that its right mind you but it does happen every week. One or 2 of my mates go to uni so tey entered a team into the uni league and we got thrown out for being too violent. We were quite mild as well compared to a Sunday morning
