Ian Brown is a legend in my eyes, i have met him and he is a really cool guy. If that guy did that to me i would have tw4ted him too..
I think people that dont appreciate his music are uncultured as his albums incorporate lots of different sounds and styles of music. He is one of the only people out there doing his own thing, Dance stlye bass, Rock guitar, Rap syle lyrics sung in an indie sytle...
Ian just did what anyone else would have done...
P.s. Oasis aren't a patch on the roses

Yeah, know what you are saying but for most Ian Brown fans, they have become Ian Brown fans from the late 80's and the Stone Roses.
And bands like Oasis not being formed if the Stone Roses didnt exist...........yeah, they wouldnt have or if they did would be taking a very different route than they had!

I said what? That you were too young to make a weighted contribution, yeah I still stand by that. That wasnt a dig, just a fact!

Squire wrote nearly all of the roses songs, brown co-wrote a few.

Or they just dont like his music? Simple. I wouldnt say i'm uncultured just because I dont like or appreciate his stuff. Thats just a silly remark. I also couldnt give a fuck about Stone Roses either. Again i'm not uncultured, just have my own tastes.

Mani - Primal Scream
Squire - Was Seahorses, got his own Art gallery (Wont be short of a few bob)
Brown - Obviously (Solo)
Only one really was Reni, but nobody can deny he was an awsome drummer, you only have to listen to fools gold to know that!

Reni fronted a band called the Rub who i saw a few years back at the Academy but they came to nothing! Think everyone was very disappointed that he didnt drum!
Brown wrote the lyrics, Squire composed the music.

In my opinion, musically you are uncultured... i dont particularly like Ludwig van Beethoven but i appreciate his music... As with alot of Rap and other kind of music i dont like, i can appreciate it. So in my opinion you are

Brown wrote the lyrics, Squire composed the music.
"Guitarist John Squire was the driving force behind them, and he wrote almost all music and played some of the most awesome guitar. Vocalist Ian Brown was the face of the band and had a really cool voice (unfortunately, it could fit only to jolly pop songs and nothing more). "
Squire was the one with the "brains" Ian had the front man image and helped co-write some of the songs...
