We won't stump up £16m for him he should have come back to liverpool I agree rafa was probably only talking because of the fan pressure he didn't have him in his plans. I would have loved to have seen him bk here not sure what rafa is doing with our attacking line still waiting for morientes to come good and jury's out on cisse imo

Should ditch Crouch and taken Owen back.
I remember watching Crouch a few seasons ago at Pompey, he was dire, even Aston Villa sold him because he was crap.

Money talks to be honest.
I think he would have refound form at Liverpool and really helped their cause.
Pah i dont care Luton are third in the Championship - oh the dizzy heights!
hell yes, my nose is bleedin again!
Oh a fellow Luton fan
Leicester was ace on Saturday - in the corner the away stand was near on full - and in full tune.
Millwall was eeeerrr interesting so interesting in fact i didnt actually go i didnt fancy being hit with a seat from the oak road end!
Both hard fought games but maximum points keeps us up there the more points the better i think we will do ok and just end up missing out on the play offs.
But for the club to continue being successful we need the new stadium now that they have been talking about for 25 bloody years!
Oh just read you was at the walkers stadium as well - ace - we managed to blag parking right next door - ace
Oh did you see who scored for the scum over the weekend

Leicester was awesome! It was fun when their fans got a bit heated and started to get themselves ejected from the ground!
What was all that about? Not one Luton fan got kicked out but about 6 Leicester did
The team spirit is key to our success. You could see Brko running straight to the fans after he scored on Saturday And what a goal that was!
Millwall was a non affair tbh. Not any trouble and the game itself wasn't the best. Still we won so thats all that matters
New stadium is a must! The Kennel is not up to scratch
And yes I saw who scored AGAIN for the scum He's in for trouble come Jan 2nd!

OJC -
We got relegated the year before the Prem came out
Then we hovered around Div 1 for a bit, then went to Div 2, nearly went bankrupt due to corrupt business wankers. Made the Div 2 Play Offs, lost to Crewe. Then went down to Div 3. Year later back up to Div 2, nearly got ruined again by a different business wanker. Then we got promoted as Champs to The Championship and never looked back.
Happy dayz

We on defo on the up - more money to help over this season and if we can keep going the new stadium "has been promised" i shall see it when i believe it!
Um Kohler were dark days but they are behind us - but hopefully we can keep our heads above water.
This is the best team i have seen since the Littlewoods Cup win in 1988. Good bunch of lads who seem "happy" at the club.
If we can keep the glut of players together, and obviously one of the best managers in the country im sure Luton can go places.
Dont forget Luton have a very close realtionship with Arsenal as well which is nice

Yes Arsene and co are good to us. Hartson and Upson being two players they bought for good money from the Town.
New Stadium and with a bit of luck we can do what Bolton and Charlton have done and make the next step up and consolidate. Bit of a 5 year plan that but one which we need to be looking at. we were once an established top flight side
If Curtis Davies doesn't get sold tomorrow we'll do pretty well and continue to surprise people.

I think it's a very wise and smart move by Souness, I think he's bought one of the best buy's this season, not the best player, but the best buy, for the simple reason Owen will try like stink to score as many as he can so he get's his place in the world cup team aside Rooney, I also think someone like Alan Smith would be a good buy also for the same reason.

Souness has definately bought himself another few weeks in the managers seat thats for certain.

In regards to the last post.. I also find it very funny that Liverpool supporters are "laughing" at Newcastle paying loads for Owen... yea i admit its loads, but when you club spends 7mil on Crouch? How can u laugh at someone paying a lot for Owen?

£16million is nothing for Owen. Drogba cost stupid Chelsea £24million and Owen WILL score more goals for sure. Even with Chelski's rotation policy Owens goals to games ratio will be better.
