Rich's old one has been spotted round this area, driven by someone wearing a baseball cap.

Yes who would have thought that a Fiat Cingeccuntothoidsrough would be any good in a crash? certainly not me!! mav and his family are safe and well now, but if i heard that that little fiat was in a high speed head on crash with a mondeo, i would not have liked anyones chances of coming out alive. So how are you so sure of the fiat unos inability to keep its occupants alive in a bad crash?

im a fan of old skool hatches with big power but i would rather cut my own penis off and shove it up my ass than own an uno (of any sort), just look at them but i would test drive one for the experiance.

pulsar looks alot better IMO but ill go with jr on the reliability side. 1 mates pulsar was 600bhp and spent more time with the engine OUT than IN. and my other mate had his standard one for 2 weeks before it blew the turbo and he sold it a couple of weeks later

The new fiats are fitted with air bags, a crumple zone and side impact protection bars... alot of the older cars would not even get 1 star in the ncap crash ratings these days... it doesn't suprise me that the fiat stood the impact, i do believe that the particular crash it did very well and they are lucky...

Danny, show me any tuned up 600BHP car that is reliable! And i dont know how your mate with the standard one srives he may have ragged the balls of it and the didn't let it warm up or cool down which is very important in a turbo car but forced induction is always going to cause reliablity issues due to over stressing the engine. Hence why you dont see big powered turbo cars going with 250,000 miles on the clock unless they have had a few re-builds!
