All these people saying jeans and shoes is barry, depends on the jeans, some that I got don't look like jeans, more like smart trousers, so suit a pair of shoes.

Also, somebody who has to try and defend their poshness on here isn't really posh. Maybe they would like to be though.

I hate wearing shoes out because I wear them all fcuking day and wish to take of said footwear at night. Normally wear some shoes I got from river island which are between the two. I have accepted the fact that sometimes it is necessary to wear shoes though

I rarely wear shoes, mainly smart trainers with jeans. Hate wearing smart trousers aswell, especially in local town where there is no need. If I was to wear shoes i.e going to bigger club on a saturday night I'd wear fashionable jeans with them, even then their loafers rather than shoes.

canne beat a good pair of loafers!
but tbh, i wear shoes as it stops the doormen/club owners complaining about footwear and sometimes they can get a bit funny around here

As you can guess I do spend alot of money on clothes....

I wear alot of trainers too with jeans, got different trainers for different jeans etc...
also wear my timberland boat show style and timberland boots with jeans (not desert boots)
but got a few pair of smart black shoes that I wouldn't wear with jeans..

Yeah now you mention it, it is quite amusing how people get 'mad' over things so petty... just like your subject title eh? -

Indeed, plus you're gonna do infinitely less damage to fixtures/fittings/bouncer's face in trainers than hard shoes.
Only conclusion I can come to is door staff want you in shoes so you can't run away from them as fast or effectively as in trainers, so they can catch and rape you easier

Jeans, Shirt and Shoes is far from smart. It's chav.
I have to disagree, IMO that would need to be filthy nike trainers with horrible nylon track suit (trouser tucked into football socks of course), sh*tty base ball cap, no hair, plenty of spots/dirt/scars and loads of ratners/argos gold
