Gen studies is a total waste of time, Uni's ignore it, your best off not going and spending your time on your other subjects.

The college she went to demand that people do 4 courses and that the little shitty one they make you do if you can't decide. Like i say she never went and they threatened to kick her out. Wankers, only cos of the funding they get the more courses people go on.

For the people that didnt do all that well yet think its ok because got into their first choice uni- A-level results can come back and bite you when you look for jobs after uni, many many companies ask for a UCAS point minimum, usually 260+

That's more like it

All I've been hearing is "got 2 D's and a U ... got into my first choice" - what did your other choices want? you to be able to spell your name correctly?

And I thought they said A-Level's were getting easier

That said I failed my A-Level Maths like 3 years ago, though Got A, B, C apart from that and got Triple Distinction in my college course, which combined equalled I could go to any uni I wanted. So why I choose Reading, I do not know
