you can say that about vauxhall sometimes

So why fix one but not the other, they are both part of the car and were both damaged while the car with in their possession.
Also, the car can be warmed up without moving it.

Actually, he wasn't taking the piss, i put boot in the first part of this thread and then edited it plus, i never asked you wether or not you liked the bonnet, and my brother really couldn't care less if you did or didn't to be honest.

I don't understand either why they said they will only fix the windscreen. It doesn't make snse, and like you said, the car can be warmed up at the garage it didn't need to be on the road.

the reason they will fix the windscreen is cause its next to noghting for them to replace it. The bonnet and relevant bodywork and spraying will cost them a hell of a lot. All they are doing is trying to sweeten you up into not taking it further.

they would have had to check under the bonnet for the MOT, for suspension mounts at least!
and as it looks like a full fibreglass bonnet it will be lighter than standard and they have probably just dropped it and thought it would close properly but it hasnt as its not heavy enough(happens with mine), then taken it for a spin and its flipped up!
The only reason i can see for driving it is if they dont have a rolling road for the brake test and so use one of those box things they use for 4x4s where its in the car and you drive and then brake!
But as they have said they were just warming it up, then why oculdnt they just start it and let it sit there, would probably get hotter that way anyway!

Ok, but that is irrelevent again, because it is their fault when the car is in their possesion TNM

Ok, i am not arguing with you coz i have noticed that most things i post you always try and argue with me. I posted this on here to get helpful advice, so thank you for your pictures, but even if they were driving at 30 mph they still shouldn't of been driving the car on the roads.

Because the glass is well cracked in 3 places, i reckon the whole thing flew off and they have bodged it all back together. They shouldn't have been driving it. My uncle has told us everything now, as he works in a garage, so we no what to bring up with them now.

my fibreglass bonnet flew up when i was doing 30 unfortunately i have no pics but it was worse damage than the blue car above my bonnet ripped off an my car was worse off than the bonnet it was down to a faulty safety catch on the bonnet itself
as for MOT checks under the bonnet they check the top of ya suspension for rust re-allign headlights top up washer fluids if its empty so they can check ya wipers make sure the battery is secure check mounts for rust

Do you think he has knocked this car or something too?? because in the 3rd picture on the left hand side, the body work panel has been pushed up underneath the other bit. Why is that??

Theyve gotta fix it. If you say the damage occured whilst the car was in their possesion, unless they can prove otherwise, they have to fix it.
They should check cars in to prevent themselves from being liable.
I wouldnt let some monkey at a garage drive my car, IF it ever goes anywhere, i ask them if theyre gonna have to drive it and they reply no so i check my mileage and let em see me doing it!

ok. We will start doing that now. Why hasn't the bonnet got scratches on it though if it flew up into the windscreen. I don't get it. It doesn't make sense. I am starting to doubt things that they have said.
