I can't be arsed to read anything but the original post so I think we should just form vigilante groups and do what the government won't. Like assassins in the night

you have to teach the younger generation how to adapt to social/cultural differences. otherwise, people look down on others.

im probably the only one here who thinks it, but, its got to be getting better now?
Goverment is cracking down a LOT harder than before, easier to get ASBO's and banning 'hoodies' from shopping centres is a good place to start, curfew's would be a GREAT idea, imo, why do kids need to be out after 10 on a school night?
i'd be proper harsh if i was PM, reduced benefits for families, if the kids/adults are charged 3 times, reduced benefits if kids dont do well in school, would make the parents give a shit if there loosing out for being bad parents.

As ojc said I knew where the line was and if I went passed it I knew all about it because my old man had no hesitation in giving me a hard slap and rightly so if I was a cunt
Fear is a a great way to discipline

And rather than giving up on kids, put them in the Army, show them what life can be like if you just work a little?

Yea they are trying to stop it all now but i think the kids are just rebelling even more because they know they arent allowed to do it and really getting a curfew i doubt many will stick to it

personally i would bring in a law to make it illegal for someone to have a child before the age of 18/20 unless the mother (and father) had xx amount of cash to support themselves outside of government handouts - if they have a kid, by law they HAVE to have an abortion whether its against their religion or what - problem solved

I like your thinking but the idea about poor levels of performance in schools would never happen. People have learning disabilities & its wrong to punish them for it.
I agree 110% about the reduced benefits for badly behaved kids
It would certainly make the parents more interested in what their children are up to at a night time. Many kids just deny it when they have done something wrong, knowing that even if they do lie there isn't any real punishment that can be issued to them. My uncle is the head teacher at a school in Manchester & the amount of parents who accuse him of lying when discussing their childs behaviour is astronomical He is literally left powerless as he cannot punish the child himself for fear of legal action & the parents just dont give two shits
I can't help but think that all this began from teenage pregnancies. Many kids now days don't have a proper upbringing due to the fact that their parents weren't ready to be parents when they gave birth. Kids need role models & parents are usually the main influence.
Also why do people try to protect criminals?
Me & my Dad were talking about this earlier & he was telling me about how there are people who claim that people who are doing community service shouldn't have to wear clothing to show that they are doing it (they used to wear bibs etc). Why the hell not???? Apparently it is againt human rights
We need to name & shame these fools. Maybe when they get fed up of being embarrased they might stop being dicks

Yea i agree about the community service people having to wear something to show they are doing it, if they are so ashamed to wear them then why do the crime
But i dont agree about all children who dont do well in school so get punished because some have reasons why they dont do well or drop out, for example, loosing a family member like your mam at 13 year old and then falling behind is a prime example of someone who i know and that is why they never went back to school
