I search the web for cheap items for example I bought 64 mb usb pens for about £2.29 each delivered when they were on sale on ebuyer i then sold them on ebay for £8.00 delivered I know its only £5.71 (minus fees so about a £5) but if u sell enough of them u can make a bit. I did the same for usb memory card readers.
I have made a fair amount of money from doing this, the problem is once I found something I would make money for the first few weeks then others seem to copy so my profit margin drops.

I'm getting in to dropshopping as well basically I advertise products on ebay even though I don't have them. When I get a buyer I then enter the details and payment in to the dropshoppers site they then send the product direct to my buyer. I make money as I can sell the product for a lot more than I buy the product for and I don't have to worry about going to the post office and also storage.
The problem is loads of people do this on ebay so its the matter of finding a product that is pretty unique to ebay.
I'm still searching for this

At the end of the day you haven't got anything to loose, just ebay fees if u sell on ebay.

Worth ago

Thats why I hate buying things on ebay as loads of people are doing it, basically if u search the net u can get the product cheaper than ebay

You'll need good insight of the market conditions, and what companies to invest in. No doubt for a good return, you have to gamble on high risk companies. Can earn millions can lose millions to, i know people thats gone bankqrupt from playing the markets.

Why not check out international currency rates. See which countries exchange rate to uk is unusally high (eg USA 1.89$ to £1) Excahnge £5k to $, then convert back to £ when the $ drops. Little safer than stocks.

I've decided against stocks. With fees of £10 per purchase and sale, it's not really worth it with teh amount of money I'd invest. Say you bought £500 worth of shares in one company. Your minimum fee for transactions would be £20, which equals 4%. Therefore you're only making money once the share has gone up in value by over 4%, and in the short term this is not really worth it. I could see in the long term it may be ok, but in the short term with low capital i'm deciding against it.

Woolworths shares might be worrth a look, dropped 28% or something overnight, buy em now, take the risk they won't go lower and hope they return to where they were yesterday

And if you just decide to spend a fixed amount, once you start making profit then take what you put in originally out and just use your profit to invest with
