i live no lie.if you actually read i never claimed rangers done it 1st i said they did it before celtic.european teams have had stars on their strips for years but we did it BEFORE celtic that is the point im making.

agreed with ED i think you'll find around June 2003 is when Celtic put the Star on their Shirt.. AFTER rangers put the Stars on there strip for the Scottish cup Final in May
If we want to start gettin petty about ti all.. at least when we lose a championship we dont complain that the opposition laid down so celtic could win.. (as Celtic did after the last league games when it came down goal difference in 2002-2003)

and thats not petty? what about celtic reaching the uefa cup final and winning the uefa fair play award, the first time in uefas history its been handed to a group of people, or the special fifa award.
Of course that gets laughed at by rangers fans then you think to yourself when did rangers last reach a european final

YES!!
Rangers played Dunermline and Celtic Played Kilmarnock.. Celtic claimed Dunfermline laid down to rangers in order for them to win the Championship but bothe games i feel were fought evenly!
Celtic are a bunch of sore losers, i also think they claimed Porto "Cheated" them out of the Uefa Cup a few years ago! Could be wrong but i'll let the tims prove me wrong

that was a joke in itself handing a fair play award to the fans.the very same fans who booed the winners when they were collecting their trophy
and yes we havent been to a european final in a long time but its winning that counts remeber so getting to a final is crap unless you win it!

Im fed up arguing with a guy that has less mental ability than a 5 year old, celtic never won the fair play award the fans did.
All your 'facts' seem to be thought up in your head as well, rangers brought out the 5 stars the year celtic reached the final in a bid to deflect attention off our achievement. I know for a fact Celtic fans have been lobbying for the star to be put on the jerseys since before 1992 and there has been talks at boardroom level about it for years before that.
You's havent actually won 50 titles either but thats a technicality

your right OJC, they would be crap in the Premierleague but thats because the Premier league has been managed in a way where the teams are more competitive,
The SPL on the other hand has been badly managed leaving Clubs like Hearts and Aberdeen (Aberdeen have also won a european trophy) in severe crippling debt, this could also be put down to bad management of money by the boards! The problem with Scottish football is that there is not enough young Scottish Talent coming through the ranks, look at england and look how many Superstars they have produced over the last 10 years...

i was wondering how long till that was brought up we shared the title with dumbarton so why doea that not count.anyway that argument will be blown out of the water this year when we win the title and that excuse is no longer valid!!

True but ina way rangers and celtic would still have to clear their mountains of debt then collect money to buy these players, that imho would take up to five years!
I would rather see Rangers and Celtic clear their debts stay in the SPL, I would prefer that the SPL stepped in and helped the lesser teams that are in the leagues to become more competitive!
