I totalled my hire car yesturday as well as the S2000, the polo went over 40 it smelt funny, so I think it will be a write off

Yeah i've had this experience with people i know. I think lots of people don't realise what a "write off" is, or their car is work £400 so the smallest amount of damage writes it off. I kno of someone round here and his mates boast he's written off 4 old nova's, but they're so worthless anyway
