Although your not paying anything now, how do you know that you haven't subscribed your self to some stupidly expensive service? Just look at how much these ringtone companys charge! £4.50 a go & they keep sending them to you & charging you
Obviously, if your a pay as you go customer this wont affect you too much as they can't take credit that you dont have, but if your on contract then you might be in for a nasty shock when your bill comes!
thats very true mate. that could be happening. But im not registered to 02, so they dont know my name or info, and also i wont be topping up my account ever again, so all they can do is block my sim, thats the worst.
And we all know it wont be more than 3 minutes before O2 start giving them away free again

Yeah thats OK for you
But what about these other people? If you block your sim then they are gonna lose their mobile number. Or what about the people on contract?

Who is your service provider?
Bear in mind that the companys have differant centre numbers for pay & go customers & contract customers
Also the business contract ones will have a differant one also

i only recomended 02 people did it, who are on pay as you go, because i know they give away free ones all the time.
i also said to keep your old servei number.ive set mine as profile 2, not my default one, so i only use free texts when i specify it.

so long as you put +44 in front in numbers you are texting in stead of 0, you shouldnt have a problem.

you should have several message settings:
Default
Profile2
Profile3 etc.
just change one of these to the new number, and then u can use it only when your 300txts a month run out, its wat my mates do and have no problems
