Some TB's and some coilovers, decent mapping and you have a decent car on your hands.

my mate had a lush imperial blue one. was the first turbo-ed one in the country too (apart from the Van Aaken demo car)

was a lovely car. most complete fiesta ive ever seen. but it was on par if not less powerful than my 1.4 sport which was quite poor
until he got it turbo-ed

I prefer the 130bhp 1.8 16v engine out of the RS1800

When my car was in the bodyshop getting 22" alloys fitted, and lowered 120mm, i borrowed my brothers Zetec-s, i raced a ferrari enzo and pissed on it, he was ragging the shit out of it, but he couldn't keep up...i'd heard those enzo's were pretty slow.

he got rid of those rims after the show season and stuck 15" OZ superleggeras (sp) on it. fuck me i didnt think smaller lighter wheels would make that much difference but it well and truly flew with the OZs on
and totally agree with your choice of RS1800 engine. a lad round here used to have one on TBs and it was fucking awesome

The kid who took this said he was racing a cooper s at the time. Apparently they were side by side at this speed! Must have been down hill, with a back wind, pedaling hard

I have to laugh at these people who say their 1.4 16v Sports would piss on a ZS because in real terms it's pure fiction I have owned both of these cars and all I can say is the Corsa would have no chance, granted the ZS alot slower than it should be but it would quite convincingly see off a Sport in a straight line and fucking murder one through the twistys

Zetec-S against a Cooper S, no chance

the guy said his zectec-s running about 120bhp. I pulled the info off the www.zsoc.com.
There was a thread which was about what you have raced and won. Its worth a look for a laugh!

It was probably a Cooper, not a Cooper-S.
He would stand more a chance against a Cooper as they are equally as slow.
