If I was going to spend a lot of money and many man hours creating that car, I wouldn't have jeopardised it starting with a stolen base car.
I'd also like to see proof that it's either an insurance job, uninsured or any other tales of woe.

they spent roughly £150k on it. the reason being that its far cheaper to produce a car like that, then it is to pay for advertising for the company. cos if u think about it, they r going to b 1 of the main cars at every show plus they had a 9 page cover car feature in max power. basically the car was built for advertising purposes.

aye...its abit OTT, but this thread isnt about peoples opinions on the car at the end of the day, what ever the car is even if its not to your taste, its still the pride and joy of someone and when something like this happens then its a really bummer
like t44rnt said, it was built for advertising purposes...so it had to be OTT and wacky (or shite and wank to the the people with limited vocabulary ) to get into mags and get noticed - Any advertising good or bad, is still advertising
however, saying that, i wouldnt be suprised if it was an insurance job or if it was done by someone who wanted to get their own back or something. But if it wasnt insured, then coachworks have to be the dumbest bunch of people on the planet to spend 150k and not to get it insured

right
It was ONLY for advertisment....
ANd they have succedded !
Look you are all now talking about the car....yuo know who the company is etc....
They have got what they wanted...
Sometimes you lot are so blind...
Love it or hate it...If your £5000 car's caught fire you would be in tears...
Now imagen if you have 20 copies of your car to drive around in,.,,,someone lined them all up and set fire to them....i expect some of you wouldn't survive that...
Hmmm
