I think the detail of the game is amazing but I still think Gta:Sa is better, this new Gta is very restricted, whats the point in earning all this money when there is nothing to buy with it, No army so no tanks, No planes, Radio is shite and san andreas has alot more variety!!

The Missions are all the same, "This person has done this, go and kill them!"
Same over and over.
I think they have gone backwards with this title, graphics are good and detail amazing but its just a bit repetitive and does not seem as jokey and funny.

The missions are shit

GTA 3 was by far the best... I liek the effects in this etc but the actuial gameplay itself is rubbish

I was starting to think it was just me who wasn't overally impressed with the missions. Dont get me wrong I'm still really enjoying it but it no Vice City or San Andreas, far too repetitive

I've been playing it for that long and nowhere near the end but I have been doing alot of messing around instead of doing missions.
I'm 38% complete.

Thing is Seany, Did you skip every cut scene, and do only the missions needed to complete the game ? All the missions on the computer ? And call everyone ?

I was reading a review, and if all missions are completed first time with no deaths etc etc It has a longevity of over 30 hours.

Add in online play and the free roam capability/fucking with police. this game has 100+ hours of gameplay.

Find me a game where you can turn it on and play for that long and enjoy every second.

all the story and a bit messing around. about 64% complete i think.
i saved a bit of time by using taxis and skipping the drive but watched the cut scenes, didnt really mess around going bowling and darts that much trying to make friends.
once you do the final mission it saves as mission complete

im going to go for 100% (once the missus gives me it back )

My mate works for Rockstar and tested this for months. He's completed it at least 50 times, and still says it's fantastic. The only thing stopping him playing his free copy is not having a 360 or a PS3. I don't know many games that you'd want to play again and again.

To be fair he probably goes home to get away from computer games after playing them all day every day.
