The Inbetweeners 2 - 6/10

Some funny bits but not as good as the first and again not as good as the series.

I really enjoyed it Russ. That's a good score?

It wasn't as good as the first but then it wasn't ever going to be. The script was poor compared and some scenes were a bit half cock. The rest was fantastic and a really great blockbuster movie.

Seems they have just transposed Raymond Reddington from Blacklist into Ultron though

Not seen it, but all reviews seem to say its a bit pony. Edit - Having said that, its IMDB rating is a lot higher than it used to be.

It was exceedingly tedious and very dated.

Oh and it also wasn't funny.

Do not see what the fuss is about.

Better than First Class and on a par with the original X films. The time travel storyline was good and they made the 70's look authentic. I wish they had given more screen time to future Charles, Magneto, Iceman and Bishop as they were greatly under used. It left some questions for me over where Magneto's loyalties now lie and it was good to see Cyclops and Jean, even if it was for less than a minute. Hopefully means they have more screen time in the next one. As with all adaptations I'd like to see a film that contains the correct characters, because even First Class didn't have the correct line up.

Just watched this and really enjoyed it.... Also can tell who has sky on here lmao

Looks like the next one won't feature the original Cyclops and Jean after all

Kick Ass 2: Hard to rate this, flawed but very very good at the same time. I want to say 6.5 but I enjoyed it more than a 6.5 film?!

7/10 maybe.

Mad Max (1979); never seen it before. Brilliant. 8/10

The Human Centipede - Not very good, obviously made with tight budget constraints and some of the acting is pish, plus it tends to make one question whether or not someone that can create a film like that is entirely right in the head.

It was like Lawrence of fucking Arabia though, compared to The Human Centipede 2, which is utterly without peer with regard to it's shitness.

It is quite simply the worst film ever made.

Avengers : Age of Ultron - 7/10

Whilst I enjoyed it I couldn't help but think that Ultron and his sentries were defeated a little too easily and there was a little too much forced humour for my liking.

I wouldn't say number 1 is shit. Just not very good. And obviously quite disturbing.

But if you want to make it look and seem MUCH better on all fronts and a far more polished end product, then just watch the second one first TB.

That said, I wouldn't actually advise anyone to watch the second one under any other circumstances.
Particularly if it's the uncut version. There are two sequences that really just take the piss when it comes to needless, hateful disgustingness.

I suspect that the film's creators might just be a pair of twisted, perverted cunts.

Mad Max 2: 1/10

One of the worst most pointless films I've ever seen and still not sure what the fuck it has to do with the original.

Actually abysmal.

MM2 isn't as good as the first granted, but its better than the Hollywood disaster that was Thunderdome. The prologue showing what happened to society is quite good. The frustrating part is how Max is treated like an absolute cunt by the people he is trying to help.

Man of Steel: 5.5/10

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, certain bits where ok. But of a let down though.

Monsters - remarkably good.
Very cool, slow paced, good looking film with nice shots and scenery. Nothing like I was expecting from the name. Subtle twist too.

20,000 days on earth - I've never had any interest in Nick Cave.
His music that I was familiar with was always a bit too odd and depressing for my tastes. I watched this film as a bit of an experiment though and i'm glad I did.
Very unusual film. It's like a cocktail of more or less equal measures of pseudo reality, biography, documentary and gig footage.

I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone with an open minded approach to music and or cinema.

Nick Cave fans will bloody adore it.
