my cams will run in standard pistons, but are very close, this is just because the pistons are out, and for extra safety tbh 
 
they will only be shallow, as your right the crown isnt so deep

thin isn't the word, i cut one in half and they really are wafer thin, so be careful how deep you go. piston crown it like 4-5mm
