Yes and I told you I know about it.
It's called sectarianism.
I'm only a Rangers fan for the football, but I understand there are some who have a passion for the bad stuff more than the football. I am not one.

I'm actually getting fed up of the excuses really. There were muppets, wearing Rangers tops, trashing another town, after a Rangers defeat...It's black and white really. If my tv broke down, I wouldn't go and trash the shop I bought it from!

Should be banned from any further european games, for years
dont care what people think, anyone involved is a CUNT, who has made you and your club (who i also have no respect for now) look like the worst losers ever
must remember when i get beaten by a average russian team, to smash the place up

Yeah jr thats what should be done. If thats the way the FA/uefa handled the actions of a minority of fans then England national team would never have seen a competition this side of 2000!

It wasnt the usual travelling support that turned up though, thats what you dont get. Usually you'll get a few thousand rangers fans make the effort to go to european games, here you had the oppertunity for everyone good or bad to go to a final 3 hours away.
Its not scotland V england but it shows your hardly saints when on forign soil either - I accept that its the arsehole element that causes you problems there so why cant you accept what im saying.?

I dont get how yous cant understand with the game being so easily accessible for the majority of the country it was easy for people to go simply to make trouble. Yes rangers fans were involved, I accept this.. however, there would definately have been an element of people simply there to make trouble. If the final was abroad these people wouldnt have been there as it costs alot of money to go abroad for football, but £20 on a train to manchester.

wonder when a greenstreet/football factory type film will come out for rangers now
1 event will give rangers fans a reputation that has taken other supporters years of violence to build

Yeah I thought that would be the most fitting title.
I dont condone whats happened at all, im just trying to show people that were not all thugs & 99% of the fans that went down to manchester went for a good time.

Ofc your not all thugs..all my frriends down there wouldnt even dream of doing what happend, and didnt. But they are still totally shamed of their supporters actions. I totally agree most of the scotland support went down for a good time, and sadly many "other" suport found it a good excuse for a fight.
Not sure if you head about the older guy from Lanarkshire who was done and has been banned from football matches for 4 years or something..he is a casual..he just decided it was Rangers he was going to "support", His house has been attacked and all sorts by other rangers support, basically hes a dirty human being.

Yep heard about him, also heard of the 11 'supporters' charged none were season ticket holders or members of the supporters or travel clubs. So basically people not interested in the club!
