In fact, what am I talking about, of course he watched the programme. He just doesn't have a clue what any United players look like.

Again where did I say I watched it

You support United, there was a programme about your manager for the past 27 years on the TV on the night he announced his retirement from football and you didn't watch it?

Some people do have a life...... though this is Steve we are talking about so thats not going to be the reason he didnt watch it.

For the benefit of Rick Draper and Hammer, no he wasnt being serious

..Wasn't that Dion Dublin?

I thought that too, considering yorke didn't arrive until 98!

Probably I didn't see it myself either, was going off what some twat at work told me
morons, fergie was going to buy david hirst by weds wouldnt sell. leeds called up SAF to ask about irwin, fergie rebuffed and put ina cheeky bid for cantona.

Learn. Your. United. History. (Im not even a fucking united fan ffs!)

And why was fergie in the market for a striker? Nobody mentioned how fergie signed cantona, it was the comment that was made about why he was looking for a striker. Dublin was on talksport the day fergie retired and said jokingly he's the reason united are successful, he got injured on his old Trafford debut meaning fergie had to go out and buy a striker.

I reckon if he'd had that form before United they would have thought twice about signing him.

Like Suarez no way would they have him

You do realise Cantona was a fucking lunatic before United?
He punched a team mate in the face
Kicked the ball at the crowd for being subbed in a friendly
Fought with another team mate (for another team) and threw boots at his face
Threw the ball at a referee
Called every member of the hearing for the above idiots

The list really does go on
Fellaini is someone they have needed for years. A big hardman in the centre who can win the ball, but also chips in with a few goals. He adds a presence for attacking and defending corners too.

Bored of this now. Can't wait for mid table man Chester united to fuck up every week and their "fans" to start supporting Liverpool the season after. Gonna be fun. I will laugh from the championship.

I like how the press think Moyes or Everton would be happy to answer questions about him becoming the Man United manager when's he doing a press conference for Everton's game this weekend.

They would be stupid to think anything other than exactly that would happen

I remember a McCarthy press conference where he kicked off at a journalist for asking a question on a topic he'd made clear he wasn't speaking about.

Will find video ..

I know they're going to ask, it's their job. But Dan Roan for example is getting his knickers in a knot about it as though he actually thought Moyes was going to sit there and talk about it Course he's not going to.

Lambert done it last season IIRC, it was hillarious.

Lennon has done it a few times this season and DiCanio as well infamously soon as he took over.
