Would depend on what you want tho...cruiser...obviously not what you want, so rule out the beema or corrado, and as u obviously can't afford running costs and insurance of big jap turbo's rule out them, go for another small hatch if you want decent 1/4 mile times and handling, maybe a williams clio ?

Corrado VR6 aint a cruiser, the golf vr6 is the cruiser
Corrado has more grunt, shorter gear ratio's etc

The 325i is 192BHP not 197.
And a BMW 328i costs less to run that an MR2 Turbo or any Jap Turbo, much less. I should know.
