Run against and MR2 at the Pod. HE oblitorated me off the line, but at the end of the 1/4 i was seriously catching, think my terminal was 92mph and his was 88mph.
So bottom end, the MR2, mid range the Corsa, top end, MR2/Corsa???
Civic will be right with the pair of you till about a ton i'd say.
Ask them to all try in gear from 50mph, u'll stand a much better chance

Aye, but originally I thought it was a turbo as the guy was spraying a bottle of water on his rad (what i assumed at the time to be his IC...).... This was at PVS o4 as well, what a baffon.
I got beaten thoguh, I sulked
Yeah its a fat assed heavy XE (1.02 tonnes  )

On the motorway its no match for my corsa, its heavier and has less torque. Round Oulton park there wasnt a lot in it round the faster corners but in a straight line and slow corners i was pulling big gaps. But my corsa has has quite a lot spent on it.
I like them, great fun to drive just a little heavy.

airfilter and full exhaust. Its a 91 so hes been able to junk the cat which was quite restrictive.

Nahh, MR2's are good cars, but for me its a little like the VX220, the NA version is a really good car, but the turbo is just that much better (and worse )
Whats the top end on one of the MR2s? Corsas being 135-140 odd.

no idea, would imagin its better as corsa has aerodynamics of a fridge freezer. doesnt matter tho, speed limits still 70.

Rev 3 is far superior mate. Uprated suspension, nicer spoiler and rear end etc. Rev 1/2 have 'snappier' rear ends apparently.

Not to my knowledge. I thought the 174bhp versions were only found in rev 3 onwards but I could be mistaken. Check on imoc.co.uk mate. People will know there for sure.
The Rev 1 and 2 Turbos have less power than Rev 3 onwards for definite so it makes sense that its the same for the N/A.

Seriosuly though, anyone know, just out of interest? Should imaging they should see at least 140 due to the shape (don't know how much drag the rear wing creates) and outright power of the engine.
What about one of the rare Beams VVTi ones 190+bhp.

Turbo will get to 150-155ish IIRC. I would imagine the top spec NA would see 140ish.
