off top gear site

In case you don’t know, the Stig is Top Gear’s pet racing driver. Every car that comes on the show is handed over to the Stig who then has to set a power lap on the test track. Nobody, not even the crew, knows who the Stig really is. However, I can reveal that he’s a bit on the short side and he speaks with a strong French accent.

I can confirm that the stig is not Asian. A friend of mine did a photoshoot for Top Gear and the back of stigs neck was visible. He is caucasian and has dark brown short hair.

Why bump such an old topic?

Its almost fact now that the stig is not always the same person, sometimes companies will send their own guy to drive it

Why question it? It came up in a search for a topic and was the most accurate to its content. Next question.

Yeah I know - but like I pointed out, the title to the thread fitted the subject I was concerning.

Age is just a number. Ask the Rolling Stones.

One of them is Ben Collins, the BBC confirmed it in their health and safety inquest paperwork after Hammond's crash.

What Perry McCarthy did?

He got sacked, because he told people he was the Stig, hence the Stig being fired off the end of HMS Ark Royal

i rekon the jaguar driving off the ship was someone else.

but other than that its the same person. see how they all look identical in terms of height, posture, weight....

if ur used to seeing a small stig dude, and then they show a flabbier stig dude, perhaps a bit taller, it would be apparent

YOU WOULD ALL NOTICE

theres a video on youtube of him speaking for a dutch tv program, whether he's a dummy or a fake actor just to throw people I dno. I remember somebody saying to clarkson when damon hill was on the show "can we see the stig sitting with damon?" and Jeremy said "We can't do that".

Edit, didnt know this was an old post. oops!
