depends on how good a bodyshop does the job but its hard to match flips and perals

i was gonan do mine in flip but im just gonan go for a nice flat colour due to the fact of chips, bumps and other crap

my car is rioverde at the moment which i believe is a pearl,am i right .could i add a gold crystal effect .that way i could have a respray in same colour but have the crystal effect added.
wouldl love to see pic of this but dont know where

try one of the cheaper paint effects like metal flake or summat its only added to a normal clear coat and its cheap

yeh i was thinking this and it sounds more realistic what coulour pearl would look gud with which flake .what do you think of these apint jobs

theres this type of thing,you wouldnt need a full repray would you with this ,as it is a pearl with a crystal flake.i know it is noting compared to the ectasy paint job but stil quite nice

some bugger keyed my car the other week it had only been painted for 6 weeks. the day before my mums funeral aswell. if i find them i will stab them in the throat.....

only trouble with metal flake is it takes a hell of a lot of flatting off and that costs money

first u paint the car with a base coat ( the colour ) then u mix the metal flake with the clear coat and spray that on but u have to use a bigger nossle on the spray gun to allow the flakes to go throug and this gives u a shitty finish plus the flakes and very grainy so u have to flat off all the paint work with a very fine paper and a a coat of plain clear coat to get a good finish.....
