It's cheap as buggery to get into vtec mate It's quite annoying if you get caught in the wrong gear, but when you're in maximum attack mode it's fucking fun!

Looks to go no bad,but i would have expected it to be a tad quicker.Seems to stuggle to rev at the top end.

Im just comparing it to this 1 though.....

Tbh, I should change at 9k too, but I loved the noise so wanted to capture it on video But aye, that one does seem quicker. But then that'll have the right tb and inlet, which mine doesn't!

Wullie didn't have them on it when he had the car either, so no

But I'm quite dubious of that video now... He's doing 80mph, in second, at 9k whereas I was doing 70 at 9,3k

Different gearbox possibly??What box are you running on your's??

70mph at 9.3k sounds low.

Mine is running the standard B16 Y1 gearbox. There aren't many to choose from really

Y1, S80, S9B and Y21/Y80/S80/S4C (all have the same ratios)

None of which have lower ratio's than the Y1 That's another thing for the list as that gearbox is too long for my liking.

Sorry mate Basically, my box is the long F23 compared to an F16 with those boxes That's why I'm suspicious of that video. Going by the comments, I'm not alone
