The TU engine responds very well to small mods ask ne GTI owner that modded there engine

Rolling road read outs r abit hit and miss tho arent they! mines apparently got 101bhp and 131lb/ft torque @ 4700rpm...

When i had mine dun the guy sed decats are a waste of time and only give 2-3bhp, havin sed that my m8 had a 1.2 sxi with decat on rollers pushing out 100bhp...

True. pretty certain mines got a decent gain in power cos Its quiker than other 1.4`s and keeps up with most 1.6`s.
