Whys everyone being so arsey? If he says its the catch its the catch, hes hardly going to want to intentionally ruin a bonnet, windscreen and roof is he?

So many know it alls on this forum.

Was over the speed limit unfortunately which has probably only made the damage worse

Yeah too right, nearly made a mess of myself. Lucky the curve of the bonnet allowed me to see a bit to get it under control.

Was a horrible noise when it happened.

They aren't faulty.. They just require lubricating every year.

bloody hell heard of this happening on clio's before, not the nicest thing to happen when you can't see where you're going.

hope it's all right, hopefully the roof isn't buggered.

some people on this forum are wankers aswell. they know exactly what happened even though you were driving it and while were sitting at home wanking off to midget porn.

i had a bonnet on my nova flip up on me whilst doing 40 luckily it kinda came up and hovered a bit rather than just slam my screen. as soon as i saw it lift it got about half way on i slammed on and it went back down!!!!! shit myself to be fair!!!

also happened to a mate of mine on his civic luckily for him the bonnet was carbon fibre so gave way a bit more and did a bit less damage to the roof etc just made a mess of an expensive bonnet

either way mate gutted for you and ignore the nob jockeys who seem to know everything about anything anal warriors FTL
