Tbh mate thats not a write off. would be better off not claiming and getting it repaired. new rear bumper and right quarter. only way i could see it being truely fucked is if the car has been twisted. might be an idea to get it quoted for repair .. feel your pain tho i'd hate that to happen to my car hope you find who did it

I've had a proper look around it, i haven't driven it but to me the wheel looks as if its been pushed forwards, not hugely but it has been moved, will wait to see what the police say and contact my insurance

Be worth fuck all im afraid, mate of mine sold his 51 plate Xsara VTs with 70k on a couple of months back for £1100.

Update: Should be getting a payout for my Xsara, heres the van that hit me




Got myself a little runabout, 104k '02' plate Saxo VTR, needs a bonnet and wing badly but has plenty of tax and test, £300!!

The wing on the other side is pretty nasty and it needs a general tidy up, and i cant be bothered lowering it, iv got front lowering springs but apparently getting the rear done is a bastard!?

They've got somebody to blame, and i've been told il be paid inbetween what it would retail at a dealer, and trade price. If i get what i paid for it (650) il be happy, any more is a bonus
