Disagree.....

The number 1 driver will be whoever has the most points come towards the end of the season, otherwise it will all be equal.

Watch them drop Silverstone next year now

Come on Donnington, please raise the funds, it would be such a good circuit, it would actually improve it...

God i hope someone invests in it. I would if I had a spare £20 million....

Donnington is not looking likely seeing as the company that owns the leasehold of Donnington park has gone into administration.

You sure?

I thought the company that leases the track have gone into administration. Theres still the company that actually owns the track (can't remember if it was Bernie or Palmer or someone else?).

Donnington will come back, just how and when is a different story.

Donington Ventures Leisure Ltd, the company that owns the leasehold of Donington Park, has gone into administration.

Donington Park is owned by Wheatcroft & Sons Ltd, the company set up by Tom Wheatcroft, who passed away earlier this month, and if no buyer was found the ownership of the leasehold would return to the company.

Yeah, so if no-ones found to pickup the lease, then the track ownership will now go to Tom Wheatcrofts sons (as part of Wheatcroft and Sons LTD)? They can then either do as they please, or sell on, or hope to re-lease the circuit?

Is that correct?

The contract for providing a race is with DVL, not the Wheatcrofts. Bernie also wants to see lots of sponsorship in place as well as a suitable race circuit. As far as I know, not much of either is in place.
