In real life though they dont offer much more room.

Something like an Audi A6 tdi or the likes is going to offer better value than an old 4x4 & do the same job??

I wouldn't say Landies have huge space anywhere. They are remarkably cramped in my experience, in spite of their external dimensions.

Col that rubbish, small er opening no height no split tailgate, seats down a 4x4 is a cavern. An estate is a saloon with a basterdised back end that will offer more room than the saloon but is nothing on a proper 4x4

My manager has one of those Nisan Navaro things. Really does look loverly. However, they drink fuel and useless on the school run / parking in car parks. My Belingo looks tiny when parked next to it

Be great for camping and towing though. A lot of car for the money!!
