i can see how easy it is to spend that much, if you clean it once everyw eek/fortnight it would soon add up if your buying decent stuff... not unreasonable imo

If you've done it properly you only need to use anything special about once every 6 months.

In between that you need shampoo and a sponge.

I've spent well over 1k on CleanYourCar this year and everything I've bought has made cleaning my car easier and makes the car look clean all the time.

Paul Dalton. The guy who had all the PR created by Dom who now runs Dodo Juice

Know a few things about him but will refrain from commenting! Recently moved down to my neck of the woods - Dunsfold (Top Gear studio) lol.

I maintain a couple of his ex clients cars these days

I can perhaps see the value is spending more on the right stuff particularly where chemicals are concerned. Obviously there's a lot of R&D goes in to the products, as well as the cost to buy the raw materials and produce the stuff.

I think there's a bit of piss taking but I can kind of see the value in getting the make up of what you're working with to be right.

Thing that gets me is paying £60 for a bucket. Unless regular buckets give off some undesirable plastic by-products then I see no reason to import one especially. Its just a bucket.

Exactly just spending the money on the right procucts can get the same results as the really expensive stuff.

it'll wear off mate.

i used to love washing my car and bought loads of cleaning stuff. get annoyed after a while, especially on shitty cold days.

mine just gets a quick wash every week, sometimes every 2 weeks, maybe a polish and wax every 3 or 4 months.
