Nothing to Buff off

You rinse the whole car with water and a clean microfibre cloth.

You basically wipe the car with the bar =

and use the lubricator to stop it from sticking. You then clean off all the lube with water.

I'm really trying to help you will but you do seem to be from a different species !

You don't apply the clay, you move the clay over the paintwork to remove imperfections in the paint.

It's not something you cover the car in.

Christ, I can imagine him putting the lance on the end of a garden hose and wondering why it's not working.

Will Doyle, I don't personally think it's a good idea to clay a car more than twice a year, obviously this depends on the what type of clay you use, I got the professional series Megs Medium one which is safe from marring and will pick up quite a lot of crude.

I personally don't really rate claying TBH, I tend to only use clay on parts of the car where it picks up lots of crap i.e. on the insides of the skirts near the front wheel.

I prefer to use a tar remover, I had been using AG Tar Remover but now I've got Tardis from Rich H I doubt my claybar will be used again, to much hard work for not much return IMO.

On the flip side of this, I keep on top of keeping my car clean and protected so it doesn't tend to pick up a lot of what a clay bar would be used to remove.

On older cars they work much better where the paint hasn't been looked after or never been polished, I remembered I clayed the Polo and that came out brilliantly after a polish.

So I think it all depends on how well you have looked after your car and how well you are maintaining it.

I don't know if it's to do with the fact you went to a school for the gifted or just the fact that you've not had anything over a 2 pager for a couple of weeks now. But at the end of the day you're either as daft as a donkey with downs or you're, as I've said before, an attention whore. But I'm going with a mixture of the two. And by the way, you can't use the clay from the local art shop.

Doyle just see claying like cleaning glass!

You spray glass cleaner on the the surface you want to clean! (in your case clay lube)

Then clean the area that you just sprayed with a cloth (in your case the Clay)

NO CLAY IS APPLIED TO THE PAINTWORK!!!!!11!!

Will I haven't even bothered to read all this thread as you now confuse me to new levels.

You said to me you had bought some clay off eBay which was liquid. The only liquid one is Turtle Wax shite which is essentially TCut.

You then went on to tell me what wax you had - which I sold to you so I know what you have?!

I then suggested 3 possible clay bars which I sell which would suit you, and you now go and post up a thread?? I help you via PM but you still don't understand it would seem.

doyle is just the ultimate fail

a clay bar is a clay bar. it's not going to be anything else than a bar (solid). turtle wax ''liquid clay'' is shit anyway.

when i got my first clay bar and lube i didn't know exactly what to do, but i at least had an idea and the equipment needed to use it!

read the instructions on the back of the dodo juice bottle, it'll tell you straight away it's a lube, not a clay bar. although i thought that'd be obvious.

Yes I did this too makes it softer and easier to use, it helps to buff out scratches easier, but you have to really put some pressure on it
