I think in 10yrs time you'll need to be spending in excess of 100k to get a car with a bigger petrol engine than a 2.5T. Its just the way car companies are heading due to governments.........due to eco pressures, due to tree huggers.

Although that new TT RS I posted about last week sounded like a little cracker, 340bhp 5 pot with sub 5 sec 0-60 time & 175mph top speed & also highly tuneable!! Lighter & better handling than anything before. Its maybe not all doom & gloom.

Still cant beat the roar of a V8 though.

current S4 is prefered to the RS4 apparently

A mate has just picked up a phantom black 07/07 RS4 Cab. Its a shame, but low volume and niche products are getting rare from the mainstreams.

I have never driven one but always remember people hyping them up

What amazes me is when a compnay produce a car then compare to a model which has been around for 4 - 5 years

Like the RS6 comparing to an M5 that has been around for 4 years

They did it with the new M3. Compared a new M3 to the Rs4 which has been out for 2 years - the M3 should be better

Although i prefer the M3 to the Rs4 anyway

And I saw an rs4 and an M3 on the A50 and my god did the M3 trounce it

And believe me they were both trying as they were having raod rage

also the Audi image is something to be questioned - most drivers are cocks

Diesel ftw

But seriously, why have a heavy, inefficient v6 when you can have a light, efficient 1.4 twin charge unit? Technology has moved on loads, its not all about CC's these days

Power delivery tends to be different. Generally, Big CC cars tend to have more of a broader range of usable power, which is nice

Yeah the B7 S4 was pretty lame, the new S/C V6 is supposed to be fucking awesome.

Shame V8's are dieing a death, I fucking love them. My dad loved his RS4, just couldn't justify keeping it because it was barely used. Was a cracking car though.

I know petal, I'm just pulling your (little) leg.

I know that you know Audi's are the bestest, most reliable, exciting cars ever made.

How is a 400bhp luxury motor like an RS4 overrated?

Also, mega lol at the BMW driver calling Audi drivers cocks, that's hilarious.
