Tbh, we have ally steps for the Typhoons here, the welds look equally as good as those. Bearing in mind, these are only steps to climb up in the cockpit. If they were polished like those ones they would look the same.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

can only get welds like that if the materials spotless. Probably been back purged as well thats why they are so neat. My boss makes ally tanks for kit cars on the side and his ally welding is spot on its always clean as fook though

They're made by Marcella Manifolds. I don't know much about it because I just found a link to the pics on the Formula Student forum because a few other people on there thought they looked tidy. I posted a link at the bottom of the pics to the forum link the pics came from, I believe they're one-off type things, but they guy claims they aren't too expensive.
