jesus, just had a look at a 120gb hard drive fo the 360 and its £90!? can you mod the existing case to accept a bigger hdd? 500bg drive can be had for £60 and that slots straight into the ps3

suppose that could be seen as a benefit of the ps3, although if all you want it for is to play games its a useless feature

I own both,
I'll be honest, the ps3 is quieter and has more features BUT...
as far as game play goes, I prefer 360 for the party chat feature.. you can get live for xbox for about 25quid.. which works out as a little over 2quid a day
about 7p a day for all you ps3 owners who constantly use it as a con..
The online on the xbox is soooo much better in my opinion,thats prob due to the fact you have to pay for it..
so for 100 quid go for it

For £100 i'd buy it, just sold my elite with 10 games, wireless, 2 controllers for £190.
So sounds a good price, I didn't use it though.
I personally prefer the ps3, it was a better media centre option, plus blu-ray. I use it to stream stuff from my computer most days now. Also, always been a PS boy, and prefer the controllers to the 360.
Gaming wise I dunno which is better, there's hardly a noticeable difference imo. And I don't really do the online stuff, so didn't bother me about the difference in that
Also, my mates have ps3's, so made sense to get the same console.

I got the elite and it runs with PS3 media server off computer, can stream and convert hd movies (MP4) at the same time

Just setup the 360 and seems to run great.
Theres racing game which I forget the name of but thats it.
Theres still the original reciept which is £229, so its a good deal.

id never get rid of my ps3 though nath. just for reference. prefer playing games on xbox though apart from fifa just doesnt feel right on the xbox at all.

Have all 3, Prefer the PS3.
Main reason is the PS3 exclusives are more varied than the 360's. And the added bonus of the Blu-Ray.
Live is the better though, but only cause most of my mates only have a 360.
