come have a look at mine if you want if your wanting to make your mind up.

carpet left in with nothing else in. doorcards gone aswell. made it alot colder/noiser without them. perspex all round also doesnt help.

head lining made no diff for me.

door cards made it colder/more noisy and also weighed nothing.

i like carpet so i left it in

anything behind the seats just bin

what about removing the capret, removing all that heavy sound deadening, then refitting carpet (but then i guess the carpet wouldnt fit properly)

not a corsa but my nova had metal plates in the footwell door cards dash and nothing past the b pillar!



ps not great if you have jumpers etc thrown in the back because they get dirty!!

Get rid of everything you dont need to make the car go forward and if it needs to be there then make it lighter!

Power to weight.....If you want it to be comfy then put a 200bhp+ engine in it then you wont have to worry about the weight!

Here's mine.
Everything has gone, headlining + sound deadening on roof, a+b+c pillar covers,
carpet throughout+sound deadening+black pads,and all trim in the rear.
The only kept are the front door cards and front mats.









Like this it it totally unusable as an everyday car, noisy,very cold in the winter, like a sauna in the summer.


I did have it like the photo below for a while whilst i still used it as an every day car.
the carpet and all sound deadening was kept in the front half with the carpet cut behind the front seats.
