I'm gonna go with Ollie on this one...i'd rather have a coupe turbo and throw a few quid at it to up the power to a nice 280 ish.
Got to admit when i test drove on years ago the engine sounded like a hairdryer when it was revved and they ain't exactly quick as standard like said already 
Will be selling the Scooby soon and i've gotta say after owning 2 MK4 Astra's i might go back to one..ace cars all round IMO.

ill have to drive a couple. for some reason i prefer the gsi shape to the coupe.
need some pics, not a fan of the coupe in blue thou, or silver. would have to be black i think

My turbo is blown too.
Still pushing 233bhp/305.3lbft 
I run it with no pipe on the actuator either so it just boosts and keeps going, turbos had it anyways as doesnt hold boost over 1.2bar

had mine for 2 1/2 years and love it tbh i never bought it as a drivers car anyway me and mrs bought it for a car to go euro hopping in and doin shopping etc and its is well suited for it......
not had any problems as such a have changed afm and just had it serviced as normal and its bin fine, only thing id say is the alarm goes off random at times and beeps at funny intervals lol but dont bother me dont stop me driving the car etc

IMO Arden blue is the only colour you should get a GSI/VXR in...the rest look to boring

They made a non turbo gsi, only ever seen one. I bet they are shite aswell. Completely irrelavant but meh.

my car is starting to show stone chips quite badly. i bet black would show that quite well too. silver would be the best stone chip deffering colour.
