When it comes to profiles and tyres im confused!

ive been told the ones im buying have 195/55 on them. i know i can put 45 on them, but can you shorten them down to a 185? thats the width isnt it?

what im going to do, is get the 15's, drop it 40mm, see what it looks like..

will put it on this and let you guys see it, let you see what yah think?

if its not great, can you just like drop it more, or do you need to take the 40mm springs off, then drop it all over again?

cheers lads.

Could do with. If you put lowering spring on standard shocks it is the worst ride ever known to man !! Uprated shocks are shorter so less travel

50mm may work but wouldnt risk it. If they scrub you will have to sell them and potentialy lose money.

Yes that will lower the car 40mm but the ride will be abit rough. If you can afford it then get some shockers too.

As i explained above, uprated shocks are shorter than standard therfore less travel. Making the springs compress alot less.

You can pick a set of Gmax springs up for around £100 second hand.

Fit them yourself if the springs are already on the new shocks.
