This was what I was gonna u2u
quote: Hey all,
Castle Combe is tommorrow It should be a fantastic day.
I'm just proposing that, those whom want to, should meet up at a morrisons supermarket near by to the track, before heading over to the circuit enterance. Most of the clubs who attend Castle Combe Action days, generally convoy down in small groups and meet up with each other in the morrisons supermarket, before heading over to the track together. This has the advantage that people can introduce themselves if new or old schoolers can have abit of banter before the group split up. It also gives the guys on the stand the chance to organise the stand and organise the stand a bit better (a whole bunch of cars arriving together, rather than arriving in dribs and drabs).
However, it is up to you and this is by no means an official 'meeting point'. If you wish to just drive straight to the track, then that's not a problem.
Ok, for those of you who are interested in meeting up before driving over to the circuit, the morrisons supermarket is at SN14 6UZ

I propose that we meet up here around 7:30am, aiming to be heading over to the circuit after 8am. (if we're not there by the time you arrive (after 8am), assume we've gone to the circuit already).
Look for my silver S2000 (reg plate X295GLA) and my friends black Golf Gti Mk5. My mobile number is 07811 588501 if anyone needs it.
Alternatively, you may wish to just head over to the circuit on your own (I believe willay would ask people to arrive after 8am so they have a chance to set up first).
In that case, the post code of the circuit is SN14 7EY. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&safe=off&q=SN14+7EY&um=1&ie=UTF-8&split=0&gl=uk&ei=rvbwSeq0DN6ZjAfOvvjaDA&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1
Willay has provided this map which shows the location of our stand (although most marshalls will direct you that way). Looking at the map, we're right at the enterance, through a gate on the left and on the grass.

Hopefully will see you in the morning
P.S. a bit of info for newbies to Castle Combe action days.
Basically, you've (hopefully) bought track time, fill in this piece of card with your details. Then when you arrive, at some point you need to get your car sound tested. To do this, head over to the assembly area on the map above and you'll notice a lane (queue) where people are getting sound tested. Once through you'll get a sticker. Don't leave this too late!
Next, you'll need to attend a safety briefing, to do this go along to where it says 'Organisers office' on the map, and just at the back of the building is a place where the briefings are held, roughly every 20 minutes. You'll then be given a wrist band which allows you out on track.
Remember you need a helmet, so if you don't have one, you can rent them from the same 'Organisers office' building.
When it comes to your track time (most of us are 11:15), simply make your way about 15-30 mins early (10:45) to the 'assembly' area and have your track card filled in, wristband on and be ready to put your helmet on. You'll join the queue and they'll let you out when ready.
Remember, if this is your first time on track, just take it easy - let faster cars go past you (indicate to the left to let cars pass on the right), don't push too hard on the first lap! and when you're finished let the car and brakes cool down a bit on the cool down lap.
Hopefully it'll be a great day, I'll see you all there

(Do you need a helmet to go on the track?)
you could've bought both on the day... entry and track time.
