How do you work out it will kill the set off, i get about 5 - 10% wheel spin, no bogging down at all...?
I didn't buy launch control specifically, i bought aftermarket management which has given me about 225bhp and a perfectly smooth power band to 9000 Rpm, the launch control is incorporated into that.

Makes sense TBH, VTEC should surely work better at higher revs? Not jumping on a band wagon but it makes sense to me....

My Vtec now starts at 4.3k and goes round to 9k

with lower torque you can hold at a higher rpm for launching than most cars though as they dont spin much

IMO Launch Control on a road car is pretty pointless.Even when my scooby was running 320 brake the last thing i would do is dump the clutch at 4.5K revs just to see how quick i could get the 0-60 down too.
