Something is seriously fuked up.
With 314 bhp, letstorquebhp claims a 12.odd 1/4 mile at circa 112mph.And that calculator is very accurate. And i put the weight of the car down slightly higher.

126mph in the damp is a simply mental mental terminal speed. i cant get that in the damp and only do around that speed in the dry. if thats a real terminal speed, id suggest it has a lot more power than 314bhp. 100bhp more.

im not sure to be fair, im guessing the readings at santapod were a bit fucked up that day.
but yeh cole its that place near my work next to choice vehicle rentals, some ford specialist rolling road place abc motorsport.
had a play with a kiddy from there in his escort cossy sat side by side with it he said come down as he wanted to know what bhp it was,
for the turbo side of things it looks like a standard kkk, no play in the turbo or smoke or anything so could have possibly been rebuilt?
i need to find the original owner of the cav and find out what the engines had done,

did you only do the one run? if not what speeds were you getting on the others? if it was 126mph, then thats a rediculously fast car. especially for no diff and in the damp. what tyres do you use and what pressures etc?

did four runs at the vaux show,
1st time in the car after getting it mot's that day so wasn't that good at launches,
that was the best time a 14.2 the reast were 14.8 and 15s
that first run was the only one that hit that speed the others were something like 80 mph
im sure they wernt reading rite anyway as that vauxhall victor went up just after me and didnt even get a time

thing you learn is never say what power you have made on whatever rolling road as everyone will say its wrong. who cares what it makes, aslong as your happy with the results thats all that matters.

id not worry about the rolling road figures. ive seen p2 make over 300bhp a few times. the 126 terminal speed though, id go and have another go in the dry and see what speeds you get. those speeds suggest low low low 12 or an 11 run even at the pod in the dry. worth a go tbh.

nic as far as i know correct if im wrong john but he is on normal rd tyres with a very cheap suspension set up but in all fairness a 14.2 in the damp having never driven the car on the strip is pretty good but 126mph terminal im sorry un less he had a rocket strapped to it think the slip must of been misread

i has astra gsi with let conversion, that was 2.1 with low comp bottom end, etc etc etc, really good spec! phase 2 chips on standard turob and was holding boost at around 15psi and i had 281bhp!
was it pvs u did runs at? they didnt let anyone down strip till it was totally bone dry so it would not have been wet! seriousle fast terminal speed, i did a 12.5 with terminal speed of 114mph, hehe
