We have bought a couple of cars from there. Both still got and had no issues at all. Prices are stupid but it wasn't my money - and personally i wouldn't buy from there.

On the last car we did fleece them a bit on the price for my Dads car given the body work damage although had very low mileage for a diesel. However, my sister could have got the car at least a grand cheaper else where. Women are just stupid!!

Eh, fucking hell, wind your neck in man.

Ooooh, ive been in the trade 7 years so im fucking superman and know everything.

I'm just telling you what the aa man told him, should i find out his number & you can ring him & discuss?

I dont know how or why it doesnt fit, its popped off from what i understand, should have probs had a jubilee clip on or something?

Regardless, its fuck all like an apple? he's bought a car, been told he has to get ripped even more by taking it back to them to service it, and they cant do that properly.

fuck, i dont know why i bother asking for advice on here, if you dont have any infromation that can help, why stick your tuppence in? its not going to change anything is it?

Live & learn, ok, cheers for that.

you actually have just proved that you are a cock.

your original post stated he is looking for compensation. you then went onto say the aa man said parts were cheap and didnt fit properly. i asked you if the parts dont fit properly, and were cheap, then how in this world, has the aa man modified the cheap fuel filter with a cable tie, to make it fit properly?

secondly, the information i have provided to you is useful. fuel filters are manufactured on a huge scale, and the price of each filter is based on how many are pre-bought in bulk. so a cheap fuel filter will not be too blame. if it was, the aa man would not have done a temporary quick fix on the fuel system. instead, he would have towed the vehicle safely to the garage. i also told you to advice your mate not to kick up a fuss, as it will inevitably waste his time.

the apple comment was reffering to one item being incorrect.mis-fitted, but somebody wanting compensation for something on a larger scale.

you came on here asking for advice, everybody has told you the same thing, but you kept coming back with further objections, or avenues to pursue.

i do apologise, if you have taken offence at my answers,

You have gave me no answers, just a shit reply.

I may have misworded my thread.

But if i said "what can he get" i was thinking more of a free service to recify the problems?

And from what i have been told, the aa bloke said it didnt fit properly & has repaired it with cable ties. I then said PERHAPS it needed a jubilee clip, but i dont know, as i've not looked at it.

I came asking for advice, someone mentioned they know someone who has been able to get out of the contract, so i persued that.

Since that, all i have done is state that i am after advice, and of course i'm going to look for other avenues, i want to try and help my mate, and if i can find out something of use, i will let him know.

But, like i said, i have been asking for advice, i do appologise if you think i'm a cock, but honestly, i feel the same way about you x

Yeh i may be going ott, but tbh, why not, i asked for advice and people are going on like its me who wants to sue car craft?

meh, i do wonder some times why people get pissed off on here, i normally sit back & reply to threads when i think it will be worth a contribution, and people get pissed off with people diving into threads and filling them with shit, i now know how they feel.

Someone has already said its not worth persuing, i get it, thanks.

I do appologise, i did actually use the word compensation.

I did however, not mean it in the yank term of getting as much money as possible for no reason.

As stated above, i meant it as a free service to recitfy the problem & check for others. mebbies a air freshener or a wax.

Yeh as bubblevaux says kicking up a fuss wastes time and gets you nowhere, was delivering some womans shopping today when her son dropped a bottle of Brandy (£29ish one), when she came out I was just about to say dont worry I'll refund it for you and say it broke in the van, when she proper went off on one, screaming and shouting at me I said how is that my fault that your son dropped it? She ranted on how it should of been in a bag (difference that would of made?) and slammed the door in my face Glad she got in before I had the chance to offer a refund, I knocked and got her to sign for the shopping which she was gutted about after slamming the door

Hairy muff mate, i doubt he would go in there all guns blazing anyways.

Its just a shame that such a big company can get away with stuff when you hear so many horror stories.

I did give him a fair bit of greif when he told me he got it from there, its just a shame it happened when the little ones were in the car, and lucky the petrol didnt ignite (it didnt happen, but its not to say it couldnt)

It's always worth speaking to them to see what they'll offer, you might be pleasantly surprised if they have any notion of customer care. Let us know how you get on.

You need to re-take your science GCSE

Stop all of these silly arguing with Carcraft, just tell them the car is not fit for purpose ask for a refund if they wont give one speak to the C.A.B.
